Te Papa’s ”Whales Tohora” and Kahurangi Maori

Last Wednesday New Zealand’s Te Papa whale collection - one of the largest in the world - opened at National Geographic. The opening on Oct. 15 was marked with a performance by teh Kahurangi Maori Dance Theater of New Zealand. (Read the complete press release here.)
